01 — Service overview
Event security is the licensable end of event staffing. Guarding a perimeter, searching a person or a bag, controlling who comes through a door, physically intervening — all of it requires a valid SIA licence, and carrying it out without one is a criminal offence rather than a technicality.
MavCo supplies licensed officers and door supervisors drawn from MavCo Security, briefed specifically for your event rather than sent from a rota. They work alongside our stewarding teams, so the licensed and non-licensed roles are covered by people who have been briefed together.
